Carlos Gallegos Anaya

Carlos Gallegos Anaya, 70, of Ventura passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 in Ventura after a lengthy illness. Born in Jalisco, Mexico on March 10, 1948 to the union of Francisco and Guadalupe Anaya. Carlos was a 39 year Ventura County resident. He was an Oilfield Operator for 40 years.

He was an avid sports fanatic who enjoyed watching boxing matches and soccer but his passion was attending professional horse races on a regular basis.

Carlos was proceeded in death by his mother Guadalupe Gallegos, brother Fernando Garcia, and sister Rosario Garcia.

He is survived by his beloved wife Rina C. Anaya, Eva Gomez (daughter), Carlos Anaya (Son), Natalia Anaya (Daughter), Bryan Salmeron (Step-Grandson), Stephanie Ordonez (step-Granddaughter), and Gabriel Gomez.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 from 1:00p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with recitation of the rosary at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel at Funeraria Del Angel Oxnard, 401 W. Channel Islands Blvd, Oxnard, CA 93033 (805)487-4911. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. Mary Star Of The Sea Catholic Church, Oxanrd. Carlos will be laid to rest at Santa Clara Catholic cemetery immediately after.
