

Louis was born on May 2, 1951, in Alameda and was a Ventura County resident for 58 years coming from Alameda.
Louis worked for the Hueneme School District, Port Hueneme Naval base, and Pennington Manufacturing Company as a welder for 40 years.
He enjoyed watching Nascar Racing, working on cars, carpentry, camping, fishing, firearms, lapidary and listening to classic rock music.
He Honorable served his Country in the U.S. Army from 1971-1974.
Louis was preceded in death by his wife Terry Truxler; parents Archie and Lois Truxler; brother-in-law Robert Manuel Vasquez. He is survived by daughter Amber Truxler and son Adam Truxler; sister Carri Currier; sister-in-law Rita Allison; brother-in-law John Vasquez, brpther-in-law Joe and Jan Vasquez, brother-in-law Tommy and Araceli Vasquez; nephews Moises and Cindy Perez, Victor Vasquez, Roger Whitacre and John Escobar; nieces Siobahn Phillips, Alyna Allsion, and Sharon Vasquez; and grand-niece Rita Perez.
Viewing and Visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with Funeral Service and Military Honors immediately following at FDA Conrad Carroll Mortuary, 401 W. Channel Isl. Blvd., Oxnard with pastor A. Bruce Kitabjian officiating.
