Patrick Zachowski

Patrick John Zachowski, 58 of Oxnard passed away peacefully on Thursday May 24, 2012 in Oxnard.

He was born January 1, 1954 at Naval Base Port Hueneme to Alton A. and Rose A. Zachowski. He enjoyed going fishing with his dad and because his dad was an aviation mechanic he enjoyed going to the airport and watching planes land and take off. He also enjoyed his trips to Mugu Lagoon to watch the sea lions and gulls and eating lunch from McDonald's. He was a student at Driffill School Special Ed class and really enjoyed art. He made friends wherever he went and always had a smile on his face.

Patrick is preceded in death by his father Alton A. Zachowski in 1995.

He is survived by his mother Rose A. Zachowski; his two sisters: Kathleen Zachowski-Oropeza (Robert) and Marianne Cabral, nieces: Sgt. First Class (Ret.) Renee Krahenbuhl, Kelly Krahenbul-Lopez (Ron), Kristie Carrasco (Mike), Lori A. Sanchez (Jaime), Julie Zubiate (Adam), nephew: Donald Cabral, Jr., and numerous great nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Patrick's family would like to thank all the staff at Care Meridian and Assisted Living Hospice for their outstanding treatment of Patrick while he was under their care.

Rosary service will be held Sunday June 3 at 6:30p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Conrad's and James Reardon Mortuary, 401 W. Channel Islands Blvd., Oxnard. Funeral Mass will be 9 a.m. Monday June 4 at St. Anthony's Church, 2511 South C St., Oxnard.
