Rosario Aguilar Perez passed away peacefully at home on October 28,2022 at the age of 97. Rosario was born on October 7, 1925 in Tecolotlan,Jalisco Mexico to Jesus Aguilar and Aurelia Huezo, and was an Oxnard, California resident for 58 years. Rosario was known as Chayo, Chayito and affectionately referred to as Ama by multi-generations of family members. Ama led a full and balanced life, She worked for Stockley's packing house for many years, she enjoyed going on cruises and traveling to many countries with family members,she attended daily mass at St. Anthony's church for many years, she enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and Chumash Casino, she drove her pick up truck until the age of 92. Ama was an excellent cook, for decades she hosted family gatherings at her home on Saturdays, holidays and special occasions. Ama is survived by 4 of her children, Esperanza Villavicencio; Carmen Hernandez (husband Ricardo);Cecilio Perez Jr.; Jose Luis Perez (Pepe), She is preceded in death by 3 of her children, Rosa Padilla; Francisco Javier Perez; and Raul Perez.Ama leaves a legacy of 11 grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren, 2 sisters Lola Burciaga; Elisa Aguilar; and brother Juan Aguilar.
