Salvador Munoz, 59, of Oxnard, California passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 31, 2016. Born in Pegueros, Mx to Miguel and Barbarita Munoz he lived most of his life in Santa Monica and Oxnard.

Salvador was a very inquisitive and passionate man who was loved by many. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family, watching movies, working on cars, and putting things back together. He worked as a Quality Control Supervisor at Olde Thompson most recently until he was forced to give up the career he loved due to his illness. Previously he worked at Technicolor, Everest and Jennings.

Sal was very generous, loving, and proud of his 2 children, Michelle and Mark Munoz. He is survived by his wife, Maria G. Munoz; his sisters Martina (Ismael), Leticia (Martin), Teresa (Alfredo), and his brother Jesse (Gloria), as well as his many loving nieces, nephews and other friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel 401 W. Channel Islands Blvd. on Wednesday, April 6. Funeral services for Sal will be at Santa Clara Church 323 S. E St. on Thursday April 7 at 10am. Sal will be laid to rest at the Santa Clara Cemetery.
