Socorro Lopez Ordonez

Socorro Ordonez joined our Lord on June 14, 2013 at the age of 83. Socorro was born in Miami, Arizona and was married to her husband Manuel on May 21, 1949. They were married and lived in Oxnard for 64 beautiful years, raising seven children.

She is proceeded in death by her mother Clara Lopez and son Ernie Ordonez. She is survived by her husband Manuel Ordonez, her children Manuel Ordonez Jr., Danny Ordonez (wife Monique), Sandy Ordonez Fimbres (husband George), Rudy Ordonez, Gilbert Ordonez (wife Becky) and Susie Ordonez Reyes, sister Lupe Lopez Cruz and brother Bernardo Lopez. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren whom she loved to no end. She was a loving and compassionate woman. She had a kind and giving spirit that was absolutely limitless. She cared so much for others and touched the lives of so many. She will be missed by all.

Services are as followed Tuesday June 25 from 3-9 p.m. with Rosary held at 7 p.m. at Del Angel Conrad, 401 W. Channel Islands Blvd., Oxnard CA. Wednesday June 26 Mass will be held at 10 a.m. at Santa Clara Roman Catholic Church, 323 S. E St., Oxnard, CA. Burial will proceed following Mass at Santa Clara Cemetery, 2370 N. H St., Oxnard, CA.
