Mrs. Clark was the daughter of the late Early Malcolm Caraway and Mary Acklin Windham, and grew up in the Rocky Head community in Dale County, AL. She was a faithful, longtime member of the Rocky Head Baptist Church where she worshiped her lord. She often shared stories with her daughter of things that were said and done in the services. She also shared stories of trips they made on the van with others from the church. She found out that ducks do not like potato salad when they tried to share their meal with them. So many stories she shared with her daughter of her family and friends, and it made her feel as if she knew everyone them personally. What a sense of humor she had. She worked for several years with Judy Bond Manufacturing in Ozark and was one of the first retirees from the company. She enjoyed attending Senior citizens meetings in Ariton and in the Rocky Head community and was very active in the Nutrition programs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Florence Caraway Clark, her brother, Malcolm Caraway and a son in law, Harold Evon Hickman.
Surviving family include a daughter, Nina Clark Hickman, Hanahan, SC., Grandson, David Hickman and wife Teresa, John’s Island, SC., Granddaughters, Dee Anne Reaves and husband Charlie, Summerville, SC., and Denise Haight and husband Mark, Hanahan, SC.. Great grandchildren, Lauren Whitlock, Tara Lewis, Cody Lewis, Robert Haight, Savannah Reaves and Beau Reaves.
