Barbara Ann Lassiter Coots

Funeral services will be at 11:00am Monday, February 28, 2011 at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Dr. Billy Gaither officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 5:00 until 7:00pm. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Barbara was born in Thomasville, Al. on August 31, 1947 to the late Woodrow and Anne Leeola Whittemore Lassiter. She was a member at First United Methodist Church of Ozark.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bobby Lassiter.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Kennard Coots; a daughter, Carolyn Planer; a sister, Debbie Elwood; two grandchildren, Kenna and Jacob Planer, all of Ozark.
