Billie Louise Barnes McGinty

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Ozark with Reverend Jim Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Westview Memorial Cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the church one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ridgecrest Building Fund, 1971 Deese Rd, Ozark, AL 36360.

Mrs. McGinty was born September 25, 1929 in Cordova, Alabama to Jesse Grady and Jessie Louise Stallworth Barnes. She was a member at Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Ozark.

Mrs. McGinty was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, John McGinty of Ozark; her daughters, Debra Szpek and Kathy Wakefield, both of Ozark; her sister, Mary Fuller of Pell City, AL; her grandson, Ashley Szpek (Sarah) of Skipperville; also surviving are her great-grandchildren, John and Kaci Szpek.
