Mrs. Billie Joyce Phelps Schwartzkopf

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, July 14, 2012, at Faith Christian Center with Reverend Charles Littlefield officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 2:00pm until the time of service.

Mrs. Schwartzkopf was born on October 8, 1932 in Nameoki, Illinois to the late Edward and Katie Johnson Phelps. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Schwartzkopf was a member at Faith Christian Center. She was a volunteer at the Dale County Court House and also volunteered for 23 years at Oakview Manor Nursing Home in Ozark.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Earl Phelps.

Mrs. Schwartzkopf is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ronald Albert Schwartzkopf; her sons, Walter , Wayne (Elyse), Larry (Cathy), Erick (Cheryl) and Kevin (Mary); her brother, Ray Phelps; her sisters, Beaulah James, Joanne Lewis and Norma Jean Widner.
