Carrie Belle Smith Miller

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 20, 2012, at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew Wright officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 9:00 a.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Post Oak Baptist Church, 4108 N. Union Ave., Ozark, AL 36360.

Carrie Belle Miller was born January 15, 1937 in Ozark, Alabama, daughter of the late Ewell and Mattie Bell Walker Smith. Mrs. Miller was employed with Jim Brown (State Farm) for 13 years, Glenn Wells Insurance Company, and Circle Insurance Agency (Durwood Judah).

Survivors include her husband, Ed Miller, of Ozark, AL; two sons: Jeff (Linda) Miller of Skipperville, AL and Larry Miller of Ozark, AL; three grandchildren: Brittany Thorne of Birmingham, AL, Jordy Miller and Jeremy Miller, both of Skipperville, AL; and four great-grandchildren.
