Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, January 5, 2014, from the chapel of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home. Burial will be at 1:00pm on Monday, January 6, 2014 in Roselawn Cemetery in Gulf Breeze, Florida with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-2:45pm at the funeral home.

Helen was born on October 5, 1935 to Jessie Eugene Cobb and Grace Aliene Jackson Cobb in Jay, Florida.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Dan Godwin of Daleville, formerly of Milton, FL; daughters: Beverly (David) Collins of Daleville; Danna (Roland) Foiles of Newnan, GA; Susan (Daniel) Watson of Green Cove Springs, FL; sisters: Agnes “Pat” (Robert) Frazee of Brevard, NC; Alice Faye (H.N.) Cowart of Sylvania, GA; brothers: Frank (Janette) Cobb of Ogden, UT; Ricky (Connie) Cobb of Pace, FL; grandchildren: Rebecca LaCoe, Mark Collins, Kesha Harmon, Kevin Ingram, Keith Ingram, Alan Watson, Adam Watson, Andrew Watson; 12 great-grandchildren.
