Jimmie Ruth Herring Miller

Graveside services will be at 11:00am, Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Reverend Kenneth Hale officiating and Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 until 10:45am. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contribution may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Mrs. Miller was born on April 23, 1936 to Louis and Mamie Herring in Barbour County, Alabama. She was a member at Rocky Mount Baptist Church. She also loved flower gardening, fishing, Alabama football and the Miami Dolphins.

Mrs. Miller is preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters, Myrtis Smith, Nelson Herring, Eugene Herring, Frank Herring; grandson, Chris Miller.

She is survived by her husband of almost 57 years, Junior Ralph Miller of Ozark; sons and daughters-in-laws, David Miller (Susan) of Skipperville, Robert Miller (Vivian) of Ozark, Roger Miller (Lynn) of Ozark; sister, Mary Strickland of Ozark; grandchildren, Amy Harris, Stephanie Barrow (Jason), Josh Miller, Nathan Miller, Bailey Miller; great-grandchildren, Anna and Sheri Harris; several nieces and nephews.
