

Mr. Mack Gordon Coleman, Sr., a resident of Ozark, died Saturday, February 11, 2012, at Dale Medical Center. He was 66. Graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Newton City Cemetery under the direction of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Gordon Coleman, son of the late Tommy Marrell and Martha Mae Cottonham Coleman was born October 28, 1945 in Opelika, Alabama. He loved camping, softball, and fishing.
In addition to his parents, Gordon was preceded in death by a step-son, Todd Whitlow; sister, Louise Roberson; brothers, Tommy Coleman and James Coleman.
He is survived by his wife, Priscilla Coleman of Ozark; two sons: Mack Coleman and Chris Whitlow, both of Ozark; step-sons: Randall Turner of Millbrook, and Robert Turner of Lake Alford, Florida; step-daughter, Susan Evenson of Wetumpka; sister, Rena (Robert) Jordan of Phenix City; two brothers: Jessie Coleman of Ozark, and Herman Coleman of Phenix City; 21 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
