Mr. Michael David Brown

Funeral services for Mr. Brown will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2010, at Bethel Assembly of God Church in Ariton with Rev Jeff Downing officiating. Interment will follow in Ariton Cemetery under the direction of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Brown, son of the late Melvin and Clara Brown, was born June 14, 1952 in Batesville, Indiana. He served in the United States Army, was a truck driver 30 years, and attended Bethel Assembly of God Church in Ariton. Mr. Brown was a loving and devoted father and papaw.

He is survived by three daughters, Michelle Martin (Phillip) of Dothan, LaDeana Fleming (Allen) of Abbeville, and Christina Williams (Phillip Napper) of Ozark; one son, Michael Brown (Alicia) of Ariton; one sister, Connie Cochran (Dennis) of Laurel, Indiana; one brother, Daryell Brown (Lisa) of Ohio; and 12 grandchildren: Savannah and Johnathan Martin, Allissa and Megan Fleming, Jacob, T.C., and Prestion Williams, Ethan and Rayleigh Napper, and Christian, Faith, and Destiny Brown.
