Shirley Rena Johnson

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2012, in the chapel of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Bynum officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time Wednesday. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens under the direction of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Shirley Rena Johnson was born November 17, 1962 in Enterprise, Alabama, daughter of the late Lawrence and Shirley Ann Wheeler Johnson. Rena attended Geneva High School. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, painting, and restoring antiques.

Survivors include one daughter, Victoria “Tori” Houser and her husband, Jay, along with their unborn child, Caroline Renee, all of Ozark; three sisters: Ramona & Ronnie Childree of Ozark, Renette & Steven Speight of Newton, and Regina Hunt of Indiana; nieces and nephews: Crissy & DJ Everett, Nickie Childree, Blake & Cassidy Childree, Windy Smith, Tiffany Smith, Kyle Smith, Matthew Hunt, and DJ Hunt.
