Virginia White Denney

Virginia White Denney of Ozark passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011, at Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. She was 92. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church with Dr. Billy Gaither and Rev. Terriel Andrews officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, June 27, 2011, from 6 until 8 p.m. Mrs. Denney was born to George W. and Laura Otterbine White on Thursday, October 3, 1918, in Earleigh Heights, Maryland. She moved to Ozark from Pasadena, Maryland in 1973. She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Denney is preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Denney, and her son, Thomas Elbert Denney. She is survived by her grandson, Thomas E. and Janet Denney, Jr. of Destin; great-grandsons: William Richard Denney, Christopher Thomas Denney, and Nicholas Edward Denney.
