Adrienne Lynette Parkinson was born February 4, 1962 in Yuma, Arizona. She lived most of her life in Texas, which we spoke about often. She moved to Miami, Florida in the early 80s where she met her husband, Tom. Upon meeting there, they married on November 17, 1984. Adrienne and Tom moved to Melbourne, Florida a few years after marrying in order to start a family. They built their first and only home together in Palm Bay, Florida. This is where they brought their first daughter, Kacey, home to in December 1988. Only 16 months later, they were "surprised" with their second daughter, Carly, in May 1990.
Adrienne passed unexpectedly on September 23, 2015. She was a very loving and caring person. She had an extremely free-spirit and genuine love for those around her. She left behind her husband, Tom, of 31 years, two daughters, Kacey 26, Carly 25, and five beautiful grandbabies, Jakobe, Jashawn, Jasiah, Cameron, and Trent whom she adored. Also her new son-in-law, Maurice, and soon-to-be, Ervin. She also left behind her brother Justin in Ohio and step-mom Phyllis in Virginia. She would always brag about her daughters and grandbabies every chance that she had and show pictures of them to everyone she could.
Many people remember her for her obsession with flip-flops and anything to do with the beach. She was a wonderful mother, sister, Nana, daughter, and friend. She was truly an old soul stuck in the 70s with a loving-hippie spirit. Her daughter's friends remember her as "Mom" and everyone remembers her laugh and smile being extremely contagious.
Adrienne is now flying high in Heaven with her father Don, mother Dana, and older brother Scott whom she missed dearly. One day the rest of her loved ones will join her at Heaven's gates. Until then, she will be greatly missed. However, a piece of her will live on within our hearts forever.
We love you!
