

Anna M. LaPardo, 101 and a half, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2015. She was born in Haverhill, Mass. to Antonio and Rose (Lanza) Simonello. She moved to Elmont, NY in 1925, and then on to Inverness, FL. From Inverness, she moved to Palm Bay, FL in 1994.
Anna worked for the New York Telephone Company in Floral Park, NY as an Operator, and later retired as a Supervisor. She was a member of the Moose Lodge in Huntington, NY, then in Inverness, FL, beloged to the Italian-American Club, Civic Center, and volunteered as a Pink Lady in Citrus Memorial Hospital for 18 years, as well as a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, and the Catholic Women's Club.
Anna enjoyed dancing, sewing, and won many blue ribbons. She entered ceramics, clothing she made, or paintings in the Inverness County Fair every March. She played in ball games at the Civic Center, played cards with friends, and enjoyed life in Inverness.
She is survived by her daughter, Rose Marie Breinlinger and son-in-law, William; six grandchildren, Christine Jannen, William (Adele) Breinlinger, Robert (Lynn) Breinlinger, John (Doreen) Breinlinger, James (Diane) Breinlinger, Richard (Jennifer) Breinlinger, and Luanne Whelan; nineteen great-grandchildren; and seventeen great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rosario LaPardo in 1988; four brothers, Michael, John, Joseph, and Rocky Simonello; and one grandson, George Michael Breinlinger.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Fountainhead Funeral Home from 6-8pm, with a Mass on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Sebastian Catholic Church.
