

Annamae Lavin 85, of Melbourne died Thursday (2/5) at William Childs Hospice House. A native of New York City, NY, she grew up and spent most of her life there. She worked for International Nickel Co. for 40+ years prior to her retirement when she moved to Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania. She remained in Pennsylvania for 20 years before moving to Lakes of Melbourne, Florida in 2003.
Preceded in death by her sister Winifred (2/2/15) , and brother-in-law, Theodore in 2013 and brothers James and Tom Lavin and nephews John Schmitt and Tommy Lavin. Survived by her brother John (Ann) Lavin of Long Beach, NY; primary care giver, nephew William (Janet) Schmitt of Melbourne and grandniece Marielle ; nieces Nancy (Kevin) Feeney of Purcellville, VA; Terry (Ron) Kuboski of Hillsborough, NJ; Diedre Lavin Parish of Jupiter, FL; Nan (Doug) MacMorris of Ocean Grove, NJ; Patricia (John) Riely of Ashton, MD; nephews Douglas (Cristianne) Lavin of McLean, VA; Brian (Lynn) Lavin of Long Beach, NY; many grandnephews and nieces and great-grandnieces and nephews in addition to many other relatives and friends throughout the United States.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 1:00 pm in the Fountainhead Funeral Chapel. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 12:00 noon until time of service. Entombment will follow in Fountainhead Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to:
