Chanly Oum, was born July 17, 1949, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, to parents Chhit Sun and wife Seng Path. Chanly passed away March 31, 2026, at age 76. Beloved and cherished by those who knew Chanly, Chanly will be remembered as a devoted and faithful presence whose gentle spirit brought comfort to many.
Throughout life, Chanly was known for being loyal and patient, offering steady support with a thoughtful heart and a generous hand. Wise in perspective and inspirational in example, Chanly’s quiet strength and consistent care left a lasting impression on family, friends, and all who had the privilege of sharing in Chanly’s life. She loved family, cooking, the color yellow, beginning each day watching the sunrise and ending each day resting in the peace of the sunset. Chanly loved traveling and excursions to see family and friends.
She is survived by her beloved husband Nal, daughter Channaly and granddaughter, other family and friends.
Chanly Oum will always be deeply loved, missed and respectfully remembered.
