Born in Juticalpa Honduras, she was the daughter of Santiago Cubas and Caridad Ruiz. Before officially retiring in 1989 at the age of 62, she was employed at Rivetz Company and worked as a seamstress. This was the perfect job for her since she highly enjoyed sewing and crocheting.
Cristina was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a firm believer in Christ, always looking to Him for guidance when needed. She will be remembered for her passion of cooking and baking; this was a skill that she passed down to all her children. She will also be remembered for the love that she had for her entire family. All who knew her would say that she had a huge caring heart.
