Daniel P. Abrahams, 79, passed away on July 15, 2018. He was the husband of Charlotte Abrahams for 53 years. He was born in Queens, New York and was a salesman of food exports for A. Bohrer Incorporated in New Jersey. After retiring, he and his wife relocated to Palm Bay in 2003.
He was a member of Joy Lutheran Church in Palm Bay. He loved music, primarily the opera & the ballet. He loved going to the Broadway Shows, Philharmonic Concerts, and Ballets in New York. He continued his love for music in Florida by going to the King Center, Cocoa Village Playhouse, and the Chamber Music Concerts. He brought that love of music to the Sheppard Center by teaching Music Appreciation. He also loved listening to the music of his Great nephews at marching band events, chorus and band concerts. He also loved watching his Great nephews playing soccer.
He is survived by his loving wife Charlotte, his twin sister Dorothea Schaefer (Don), his Cousin Reverend Kathleen Caputo, many nieces and nephews, and Great niece and Great nephews. He is also survived by his Cousins Barbara Guaricci (Danny), Diane Seekamp (Roy), Iris Quigley, and Meryl Lefkowicz (Jeff). He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Marie Abrahams.
The Receiving will be at 11am at Joy Lutheran Church, with the Funeral service to follow at 12pm. Then at the Graveside at Fountainhead Memorial Park in Palm Bay.
