David D. Morris, 81, of W. Melbourne died Tuesday (11/12) at William Childs Hospice. A native of Albemarle, Virginia he had been a member of the Baltimore County Sherriff’s Dept. for 20 years before coming to the W. Melbourne area. Once coming to the W. Melbourne area he worked in the shop for Boys Electric. David was a Lutheran by faith and a sports fan. He enjoyed playing softball and baseball on the teams at work as well as watching baseball and football on TV. Another favorite sport was playing horseshoes. He and Patricia took many trips across the US touring and sight-seeing.
Survivors include his wife: Patricia; brother: Edward of Orlando, FL; sister: Estelle Barnett of Clermont, FL.; granddaughter: Christina Bauer; great-granddaughter: Trinity Hubbard and a large extended family.
David was preceded in death by his grandson: Chad Bauer.
There will be a Life Event Celebration at the Fountainhead Funeral Chapel on Friday, 11/22 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.
