David Lynn Ormsby

David is survived by his wife, Deborah Ormsby of Malabar, FL, and children; David “Brett” Ormsby and wife Shelley McCrum Ormsby of Alexandria, PA; Holly Pritchett and husband Marvin Pritchett of Felton, DE and Cory Alan Edwards of Malabar, FL.

Grandchildren- David A Ormsby, Kylie R Ormsby, Andrew D Ortiz, Asher J Ortiz, Marlie M Ortiz, Casey A Edwards and Rajah T Collick; as well as 4 great -grandchildren.

David is also survived by 3 siblings; Doug Ormsby, Jim Ormsby and Karen Ormsby Roberson.

David was preceded in death by his parents Harry Ormsby and Helen Moore Ormsby; as well as 3 siblings, Lee Ormsby, Terry Ormsby and Pam Ormsby Railer.

David graduated from Juniata Valley High School in 1964 and went on to obtain an Accounting Degree from Penn State University. He served in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard and Army National Guard.

He retired after 40 years of service for the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections as a Parole Supervisor.

David loved the water and was proud to achieve certification as an Advanced Open Water Diver from the Professional Association of Diving Instructors. He loved his family; also loved traveling enjoying many adventures with his wife, Deb.

He also greatly loved and was loved by his ferocious chihuahua protectors Rocky and Chelsea.

David lived his life by helping others. He would appreciate random acts of kindness in his memory.
