Donald Cyril Smith

Born in Superior, Wisconsin, Donald was the son of Cyril R. Smith and Clementine Van Massenhove. He attended Central Cathedral in Superior, Wisconsin. Once his schooling was completed, he joined the United States Air Force. His military career began in May of 1964 and ended when he retired in November of 1987. While in the Air Force, he worked as a food service supervisor.

Donald was a member of the church Our Lady of Grace. He enjoyed going to casinos to gamble and watching all sports, especially football. He was a huge packers fan! He will be remembered for his loving and caring personality; he was kind to everybody. Donald also had a great sense of humor. His jokes will be missed.

He is survived by his spouse Frieda Smith of Palm Bay, FL; brother Lenard Smith of Superior, WI; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Cyril R. Smith and Clementine Van Massenhove.

The visitation will be held from 1 PM to 3 PM on Thursday, January 5th at 3 PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock St. SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909. The funeral service will begin at 3 PM. Directly after the service, there will be a reception in the funeral home’s chapel.
