Attended school, worked for Montgomery Wards and was a homemaker.
She attended Evangelical United Brethren Church at 7th and Gay Streets in Portsmouth.
Dorothy moved to Melbourne, Florida in 1966 and was a charter member of Suntree United Methodist Church where she was very active.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, David Fritz, her eldest son James Fritz, a grandson Richard Fritz, and Great Grandson Brandon Fritz.
She is survived by four children Gary Fritz, Janice Skidmore, Gail Davis and John Fritz, thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Fountainhead Funeral Home in Palm Bay, on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 12:30pm. Family will receive friends for one hour prior to service.
