Elinor Ann Marks, passed away peacefully and went to be with her Lord on January 9th, 2021, at the age of 92. She was born in Manitowoc, Wisconsin on March 18th, 1928 to the late Frank and Anna Kutil. She is predeceased in death by her husband, Clinton Marks of 35 years.
Lovingly remembered by her sister Dorthy Jarosh of Manitowoc; her children: Michael Marks of Hope, Arkansas, Daniel Marks of Melbourne, Florida, her daughter Kay Garrett of Rusk, Texas; her grandchildren and their families: Melissa and James Leavins of Jacksonville, Texas, and Jennifer and David Lawson with great-grandchild Hayley of Longwood, Florida.
Elinor dedicated her life to her family and stayed at home to care for her children. Elinor's husband served in the Air Force and his career brought them to live in Illinois, Mississippi, Germany, Indiana, Texas and Florida. While stationed in Germany, Elinor and Clint were lucky enough to travel throughout Europe.
Elinor was a faithful member of the Catholic faith and attended Our Lady of Lourdes in Melbourne where she enjoyed the friends made through church groups and serving her community. Elinor loved laughing and was known by her family members to give the best hugs. In her later years Elinor continued to enjoy having breakfast frequently with her friends and asking her family to accompany her to a steakhouse. Elinor was an avid reader who enjoyed reading newspapers from towns that she formerly lived in. Despite no longer living in Wisconsin, Elinor continued to enthusiastically root for her Packers.
She will be reunited alongside her husband in Calvary Cemetery in Manitowoc, WI

Whenever I think of Elinor it's with a smile on her face and laughter in her voice.
Whether celebrating weddings or graduations throughout the years, I will always remember her fondly.
A very sweet lady who fortunately got to meet her beautiful new great-granddaughter, Hayley.
I know she will be greatly missed!

Woody and I will miss having her at our Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners we shared together. She did give the biggest, best hugs.
