Elizabeth Rogers, 86 of Sebastian, passed away June 5, 2010 at Palm Gardens in Vero Beach. She was born December 15, 1923 in Mt. Holly, New Jersey to Charles and Helen Goldy. She graduated from Gettysburg College in 1945. Elizabeth worked for Taca Airlines as a Flight Attendent.
She married Richard Rogers in 1946 moving to Kansas where she worked for Kansas State University as an instructor in Vetenary Medicine. In 1949 they moved to Miami where she worked in Burdine's Department store. She was a financial secretary for St. Faith Espiscopal Church in Cutler Ridge, Florida, then moved to Sebastian to retire in 1988.
She will be sadly missed by her husband Richard of Sebastian, a son Theodore (Brenna) Rogers of Gainesville and one brother, Charles S. (Ann) Goldy of Long Branch, NJ.
Memorial Services will be at Fountainhead Funeral Home at 2:00pm Tuesday, June 15, 2010.
