Elsie A. Sosa

Elsie Sosa (Albaladejo), age 82, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025, in West Melbourne, Florida. Born on January 4, 1943, in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, she lived a life marked by devotion to her family, a passion for nurturing others, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of home and nature.

Elsie shared 56 loving years of marriage with her husband William Sosa. Together they built a warm and welcoming home where their two sons, Lenny and Jerry Sosa, were raised with care and affection. Her family was the center of her world—her greatest joy came from being surrounded by those she loved most.

A woman of many talents and interests, Elsie found happiness in the everyday beauty of life. She had a gift for sewing and often spent time creating with her hands. Her love for cosmetics reflected her vibrant spirit and attention to detail. In her garden, she found peace and purpose, tending to plants with the same care she gave to those around her.

Elsie was especially known for her culinary skills. Her kitchen was a place of magic where she prepared homemade Latin dishes that brought comfort and joy to all who gathered at her table. Cooking was more than a task—it was an expression of love. Often singing as she worked over the stove, Elsie infused every meal with warmth and heart.

Her interest in holistic health reflected her thoughtful nature. She believed in natural remedies and always sought healthy alternatives to support well-being—for herself and those she cared about.

Above all else, Elsie will be remembered as selfless, thoughtful, and supportive. Her presence brought light into every room she entered. She gave freely of herself without hesitation or expectation. Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled in her family and the countless memories shared with friends and loved ones.

A visitation will be held at Fountainhead Memorial Funeral Home, located at 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL, 32909, on January 6, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life Service will follow at the same location from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on January 6, 2026.
