

Enoch James Stephenson, born on November 11, 1936, in Manchester, Jamaica, passed away on February 7, 2026, at the age of 89. Enoch was known for being gentle, kind-hearted, wise, and friendly, touching the lives of many with his warm spirit and generous nature.
Enoch was a high school graduate who embarked on a fulfilling career that took him to Africa as an employee of the Uganda mission. He later worked for the UNESCO The International Education Arm of the UN, in New York.
In his personal life, Enoch had a passion for tending to his yard, particularly his beloved fruit trees, which included mango, avocado, acai, and pigeon peas. His playful battles with the squirrels in his yard, armed with a slingshot, were well-known among his friends and family. A lover of outdoor activities, he joined a bicycle group of friends, riding 25 miles every day. Enoch's love for people was evident in his friendships that spanned the globe. He enjoyed playing Dominos, drinking coffee, and watching "The Price is Right." An avid cook, he never let anyone leave his home without a meal. Golfing on weekends was a cherished activity during his time in Delaware.
Enoch was deeply involved in his community, serving as a deacon at the First Baptist Church of Malabar and actively participating in church activities. He was a member of the Senior Center and an active participant in the Caribbean Association.
Enoch's social nature and love for people left a lasting legacy. He was married to his wife, Diane, for 39 years, having met her in 1971 and married in 1986. He was a beloved husband and stepfather, he cared deeply for his family, who, in turn, cherished him.
A visitation will be held at the First Baptist Church of Malabar, located at 1665 Malabar Road, Malabar, Florida, on February 20, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A funeral service will follow at the same location from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The committal will take place at Fountainhead Memorial Park, 7303 Babcock St SE, Palm Bay, Florida, beginning at 12:30 pm.
Enoch's final resting place will be at Fountainhead Funeral Home, located at 7303 Babcock Street Southeast, Palm Bay. His life was a testament to the love and kindness he shared with others, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
