Eugene S. French, 84, of Palm Bay died Monday (3/10) in the Palm Bay Hospital. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, he came to Brevard County in 1966 from Tennessee. Eugene was a member of the Bethany Ministries and had also been a member of the Scottish Rite and the Oliver Springs Masonic Lodge in Oliver Springs, Tenn. An electrical engineer, Eugene has worked for several of the aircraft manufacturing companies throughout his career. He had always been very active and enjoyed sports, fishing and football. Another of his favorite pastimes was when he had the opportunity to cook.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years: Iva; four children: Terry Eugene of W. Melbourne, Deborah S. Kennedy of St. Augustine, Joseph Houston of Melbourne, Nancy A. Schuler of Palm Bay; sister: Nancy Loretta Bratt of California; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
