

Frank T. Costarino, of Vero Beach, Fl., passed away on Easter Sunday morning, 20 April 2014. He was born on 14 October 1914 in Brooklyn, NY to Andrew T and Lillian Costarino, one of five brothers and sisters. Frank graduated from Saint Francis’ Academy and enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1941. He served in a variety of bases, primarily in the southern US and left the Army at the end of the war. He married Eileen Marie Maher on 21 June of 1941. Frank and Eileen had three sons. They lived in Brooklyn and Queens NY until moving to Manhasset, NY in 1955. They also had homes in Cutchogue, NY and moved full time to Palm City, FL in 1988. Frank, his father, and two brothers owned and managed Hicks-Costarino Waste Paper Company, a company founded by his father and grandfather. Hicks-Costarino was a pioneer in paper recycling. Frank was an avid golfer, who on his 75th birthday scored a 75 at the TPC Course Sawgrass. He also enjoyed painting.
Frank was predeceased by his brothers Andy and Judd and sisters Irene and Mary Anne. Eileen Costarino died in August, 1990. Frank married the former Cornelia “Dolly” Dimarzo in October of 1993. He is survived his sons Tom and John Andrew and their wives, and son David. Frank also had on wonderful grand-daughter Jennifer Anne, of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by Dolly and her two children.
