George proudly served his country in the Army during WWII in the Pacific Theater. He went to work as an aircraft mechanic with Republic Airlines and also for Northrop Grumman until his retirement.
George is survived by his wife of 73 years Anna M Abbott, his sons, Thomas Abbott and Steven Abbott, his daughter Mary Fernandez, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
