George E. Lee, 81, died Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Holmes Regional Medical
Center. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and came to Palm Bay in 1972 from
Vienna, Virginia. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air force. After his
military career he worked as a personnel manager with the Florida Department of
Corrections. George was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion,
and the Disabled American Veterans. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
George is survived by his wife of 61 years Margaret, his daughter Barbara Bentley
(David), and his sons, William Lee (Jan), George Lee, Jr., James Lee, and Robert T. Lee
(Joann). He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
A visitation will be held today from 2-4 p.m. at Fountainhead Funeral Home in Palm
Bay. Services will follow at 4p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
