Gloria Sugar Booker Scott

Gloria Booker Scott, 56, of Palm Bay, FL passed away Thursday August 1, 2013. A native of Fort Pierce, Gloria moved to Palm Bay in 1987 and enjoyed working as a florist in Sebastian, FL. for many years. She was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, in Gifford, FL.

Gloria was a loving wife, adored her grandbabies and children as well as the children she gained though out her lifetime. Gloria had a way of always making new friends, never "met a stranger" and was an inspiration to everyone she met.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Garrie L. Scott, Sr; mother Ellen Booker of Ft. Pierce; 2 sons: Garrie L. (Karya) Scott, Jr. of Palm Bay, and Lendrelle (Ruth Knight) Mizell of Lakeland, FL; 2 daughters: Britney R. Scott and Tiffanee (Ahmad) Lacy of Palm Bay; 3 brothers: Jimmie (Lorraine) Booker of VA Beach, Timothy Alvin Booker of Ft. Pierce, and Terry (Julia) Booker of Hawaii; 3 sisters: Sheryl (Shawn) Booker-Tillman of Ft. Pierce, Yolanda (Sandy, Sr.) Mack of Ft. Pierce, and Jill Frost of Sebastian, FL; 6 grandchildren: Karya, Jacob, Jayden, Brayden, James, and Ahmad Jr.; and a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and cousins on both the Booker/Cooper and the Scott/Phillips families.
