Henry Joseph Batby, 86, passed away on August 22, 2021 in Melbourne, FL. He was the husband of Irene Mina Batby. They shared 54 happy years of marriage together. They loved to talk about their time in Germany and traveling through Europe. Wonderful years together of love and laughter.

When he retired in 1975, he was a Tech Sergeant.
He retired from the Holmestead AFB, and started to work in security for Ranken in Miami. After relocating to Palm Bay, FL in 1981, he went to work for Harris Corporation in security.
He will be remembered for being a loved husband, father and grandfather. He always wanted to know what was going on in the lives of his family members, and would have words to uplift and encourage. He was quiet but strong, with a good sense of humor and wit. He and his son, David, had grown even closer of recent. They were able to spend time talking about life and sharing priceless time together. He will be very missed.
