Jim graduated from McGill-Toolen Catholic High School in Mobile, Alabama. He went on earn a Bachelors of Industrial Engineering degree from University of Florida and a Masters degree in Statistics and a Masters degree in Systematic Statistics. Jim worked for Harris (Radiation Semiconductor) for 30 years, he also worked at MC Assembly for 5 years and Rockwell Collins for 10 years.
Jim was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and St Joseph Catholic Church for 42 years.
He was an accomplished acoustic guitar player and vocalist. Other hobbies were computer gaming and spending time at home with his family.
He will always be remembered for his kind and gentle spirit and warm smile.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years Ginny Zalnoski, his son Lee Zalnoski and his daughter-in-law Laura, his daughter Lindsey J. Zalnoski and her fiancé Leo Bohorguez, his brother Jerry Zalnoski, his sisters Patti Zalnoski and Paige Zalnoski, his granddaughters Savannah and Mallory Zalnoski.
A celebration of life service for James will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 6:00 PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock St SE, Palm Bay, Florida 32909.
