Janet Cropley Patterson

Janet Cropley Patterson, 85 of Melbourne, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019 in Palm Bay. She was born November 12, 1933 in Weston Maine to Hugh & Nina Cropley but grew up in the Bronx, NY. Janet was married to Eugene Patterson and they shared 55 glorious years together. He preceded her in death.

Janet worked as a bookkeeper and financial manager for many years in Melbourne. She belonged to the First Baptist Church of Melbourne where she sang in the choir for many years. Janet was known for her kind smile and her love of Christ and her undying love for family.

She will be sadly missed by her children; Carl Patterson, Irene (Robert) McQuay, Stephanie (Scott) Goddard, Dan Patterson, Brothers, Bryan (Margaret) Cropley, Raynor (Dale) Cropley, Melvin Cropley, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Janet was preceded in death by, her husband Eugene and a brother, Wilbur Cropley.

There will be a private graveside at Fountainhead Memorial Park followed by a Celebration of Life at 12 noon at the First Baptist Church of Melbourne, Friday, January 25, 2019.
