John E. Chisholm III, 78, “The Fisherman” of Sebastian died Saturday, (3/1), in the Sebastian Medical Center. A native of Newark, NJ, he was born on November 27, 1935, the son of the late John and Ada Chisholm.
John came to the Sebastian area 22 years ago from Connecticut and had worked for Lockheed as a Quality Engineer in the Missile Defense systems. He was a Presbyterian and very passionate about fishing.
John is leaving behind his wife of 34 years: Jeannine; a son, John Chisholm of South Carolina; a daughter, Mary Leigh McGlynn of New Jersey; step children Maureen Zaharie, Kathy Shortridge & Bob Gilmore; 7 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 4 great granddaughters & 3 great grandsons.
