John D. Sutterfield

Born in West Union, Ohio, he was the son of Lloyd and Shirley Sutterfield. The family moved to Florida in 1971.

He was an active member of Fellsmere First Baptist Church, attending services there since 1983. His favorite pastime was going to church. His other hobbies included going to the movies, watching sports, and collecting caps. He will be remembered for his sweet and loving personality, his sense of humor, and his strong devotion to family and friends.

He is survived by his 3 sisters: Norma Jean Harrelson, Nancy (Dean) Heppard, and Kimberly (Barry) Revis; 4 nephews, 5 nieces and spouses, and a host of many great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd (Bud) Sutterfield and Shirley Brooks Sutterfield; brother, Lawerence E. Sutterfield; and sister; Sharon F. Godwin.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Fellsmere First Baptist Church, 107 N. Magnolia Street, Fellsmere, Florida 32948 with interment at Fountainhead Memorial Park. The visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to the time of the service.
