

Kira attended primary school in Dover, Delaware until she relocated to Florida in 2015. There, she completed the fifth grade before choosing to home school. She was well liked by her peers. Kira remained an ‘A’ Honor Roll student and even skipped the 6th grade! Kira was currently in the 7th grade. Throughout her academic career, Kira received awards for Responsibility. Kira was also a girl scout whilst in primary school.
Kira enjoyed reading, crafting, dancing, and listening to music. Her competitive side explored soccer, basketball, and swim. She was a force on the field.
With her family, Kira was always excited to explore amusement parks, especially roller coasters; traveling; and outdoor activities like skating, biking, bowling, and anything competitive that she could challenge her family at. Her favorite basketball team was Golden State Warriors, with Stephen Curry being her favorite player. Her favorite football team was the Philadelphia Eagles. Kira loved a variety of music which included artists like Beyonce, Alessia Cara, Toni Romiti, Drake, Chance, and Post Malone.
As a child, Kira was dedicated under the Christian faith at Greater Refuge Temple in Mount Vernon, New York and was rededicated at Calvary Church in Dover, Delaware in 2013.
Kira adored her siblings: Kalif Dunnah, Lavondre Chamberlin Jr., and Lauryn Chamberlin. She would spend countless hours with Kalif playing computer math games, watching him play MineCraft, and searching other entertaining videos. Kira was amazing at engaging her younger siblings, Lavondre and Lauryn in activities like movies and puzzles.
While many may know and remember Kira to be sassy and sarcastic, Kira wishes to be remembered as funny, creative, inspiring, interesting, intelligent, courageous, beautiful, and hilarious. 'I can do anything I put my mind to.' Kira wanted everyone to know that her family was the source of her strength and joy.
Kira was an amazing daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter, cousin and friend. She is survived by her mother, Shamika Chamberlin; her dad, Lavondre Chamberlin; her father, Karim Dunnah; her brothers, Kalif Dunnah and Lavondre Chamberlin Jr.; her sister, Lauryn Chamberlin; grandparents, Albert & Carolyn Lawrence of Dover, Delaware, Levi & Amy Chamberlin of Meridian, Mississippi; Janice Davis of Titusville, Florida; great-grandmother, Ileta Jacobs of Titusville, Florida; uncles, Calvin Cartwright, Jr. (fiance, Wilasia McBride) of Wilmington, Delaware; Laserik Jones, Sr. (wife, Beverly) of Shertz, Texas, Jacques Crump of Meridian, Mississippi, and LaChallenge Reed (wife, Kristie); godmother, Shawnte Nisbett of The Bronx, New York; aunts, Chrystal Brito, Kimesha Lewars, and Caleta Lewars of Titusville, Florida; great-uncles, George Pressley (wife, Diana), Gene Lawrence (wife,Michaleyn), and William Lawrence; great-aunts, Bessie Ervin, Linda Pressley, Delores Pressley, Deborah Fitzpatrick (Brian), Catherine Melendez, Ernestine Poole; and a host of relatives and friends.
