Born in Taipei, Taiwan, he immigrated to the U.S. in the late 1970s to pursue a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Auburn University. He went on to become a successful restauranteur and established both Hunan Chinese Restaurant and K.C. Chen Chinese Restaurant in Cullman, AL. He was also a member of the Melbourne Chinese Christian & Missionary Alliance Church of Melbourne, FL.
He will be remembered for his strong-will, hard-work ethic, and his great love for his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Dyna Chen, his children, Charles, Victor, and Selena, and his two grandsons, Luke and Samuel.
The visitation and memorial services will be held on May 2 at Fountainhead Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 11AM to 12PM.
