Born in Rochester, New York on July 10, 1949 to Carl Nicholas Geniton and Dulcie Marie Rice (m. Costanzo), Linda was the middle child of three sisters. The Geniton family moved to Miami, Florida in 1958 where Linda spent much of her youth. It was in Miami where Linda met her husband, Phillip Kicinski, who she married in 1968.
Linda and Phillip moved to Malabar, Florida in the early 1980s to raise their three children. Here, Linda worked for Harris Corp. then the United States Postal Service until her retirement.
Upon retirement, Linda found joy in her Italian family’s gatherings, cooking, daily phone calls with her sisters, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who filled her heart.
Linda was known for her selflessness and compassion. She gave all she had to the ones she loved. In her final years, she fought a grave illness with dignity and grace and a warrior’s spirit. She will be remembered as a beautiful, kind, and loyal soul to all of those who had the opportunity to know her and love her.
Linda is survived by her children Clint Kicinski (s. Jennifer Holmes), Chris Kicinski (s. Karen Kicinski), and Kelly Kicinski; her grandchildren Dustin McMillan, Alexa Henry, Brooks Kicinski, and Grace Kicinski; as well as her great-grandchildren Jaylee McMillan and Leighanna McMillan. She is also survived by her sisters Carol Hawk and Joanie Austin. She is predeceased by her parents, as well as her husband.
The family will welcome loved ones to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 5330 Babcock Street NE, Palm Bay for a viewing at 12 pm followed by a service at 1 pm on Saturday, June 10th. Immediately following the service, Linda will be laid to rest at Fountainhead Memorial Park in Palm Bay. An informal Celebration of Life will follow at The Banyan Estate located at 1490 Marie Street, Malabar from 3 pm to 6 pm.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.FountainheadFuneralHome.com for the Kicinski family.
