She worked as a Clinical Dietician for 27 years in Lincoln Hospital before retiring to enjoy her family and friends. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace. “A mother to all she met” best described Margarita, who loved her family first, and loved to cook, garden, dance, sing, and was a very spiritual woman.
Margarita is predeceased by her brother, Ashley George; daughter, Deborah Apolinaris; and mother, Modesta George.
Margarita is survived by 3 daughters: Maria Apolinaris’-Rosado (Linda Rosado) of Palm Bay, FL, Leticia Apolinaris of Bronx, NY, and Margarita Apolinaris of Palm Bay, FL; 4 brothers: Wilfred George, Abelado George, Sergio George, and Mario George; 3 grandchildren: Gina Maria Nater of Palm Bay, Noel Christian Nater of Palm Bay, and Jessica Christine Nater of Palm Bay; and 6 great-grandchildren: Justus Durant, Josiah Ventress, Dru Yoder, Payton Barker, Nicole Rogers, Jessica Pepe and an enormous extended family.
A visitation will be held Saturday 9/7 from 2PM to 4PM with a service to follow at 4PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home.
