Maureen was born in Fall River, Massachusetts. She moved to Wallingford, Connecticut where she raised her family before retiring and moving to Florida to devote her time to being a "Grandma" to the loves of her life, Courtney and Wesley.
Maureen loved to entertain her friends and her door was always open with the coffee pot and a good conversation waiting inside.
Maureen leaves behind her daughter Julie Coleman (Ron Souza), her grandchildren Courtney Coleman and Wes Coleman, sister in law Jay McGuill, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many cherished friends. Maureen was predeceased by her son, Robert "Bobby" Almy and her husband Sam Goldfarb.
Family would like to thank the nurses and doctors in the "West Wing" for their professional and compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the William Child's Hospice House, Palm Bay, Florida or St. Joseph Catholic School in Palm Bay, Florida.
A graveside service for Maureen will be held March 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Fountainhead Memorial Park, 7303 Babcock Street SE. Palm Bay, FL 32909.
