

Olga was born February 21, 1941 in Cloverleaf, Manitoba, Canada to her parents Anton Sawchuk and Annie Lubeneski Sawchuk.
She moved to the United States from Canada in 1960, then moved from Del City, Oklahoma to Melbourne, Florida in 1968.
Olga and Charley Sims married on July 3, 1968 and together started Green Thumb Landscaping. They retired in 1993 from their business.
She was formerly with the Palm Bay Professional Womens Network, Kiwanis Club of Palm Bay, and the Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce.
Olga had a green thumb and loved gardening. Her grandchildren were a large part of her life. She enjoyed her slot machine arcades and taking care of people. She and her friends met Thursdays for Sandwich Club.
She was preceded in death by Charley in December of 2014. Olga was also preceded in death by her sister Steffie Shumilak and her brother Bill Sawchuk.
She is survived by her son Terance R. Cox of Palm Bay, Florida; daughter Robin Sims of Melbourne, Florida; sisters Kathy Telesky, Vera Harrow, and Virginia Bystiak of Canada; brothers Dan Sawchuk, Rick Sawchuk and George Sawchuk of Canada; grandchildren Stephene Bassin of Viera, Florida, Ashley McCallister of Tampa, Florida, Terra Lynn Anaya of Ocala, Florida, Michael Cox, of Melbourne Florida and six great grandchildren.
Calling hours are 12 Noon until 1:00pm with services beginning at 1:00pm on Wednesday November 25, 2015 at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, Florida 32909. Entombment will follow at Fountainhead Memorial Park, Palm Bay, Florida.
