

Patricia Ann (O'Brien) Lucas passed away quietly on September 10, 2015. She was born on December 15, 1950, in Clayton, New Mexico. For her first 16 years she lived in New Mexico and California. Then in 1968 she moved to Clark AFB, Philippines with her mother, brothers, and step dad. She met Paul Joseph Lucas at Carswell AFB, TX whom she married on May 23, 1970. They were happily married for 45 wonderful years.
Pat graduated in 1968 from Sandia High School in Albuquerque, NM. She ran track, played volleyball, tennis, and golf, and was an above average bowler. Her favorite hobbies were oil painting, sewing, needle point, cross stich, crocheting, and ceramics. She did numerous hours of volunteer work with the Red Cross as a Dental Assistant, teacher assistant and Sunday school teacher. She also held many jobs as server, cook, and cashier at multiple locations, Real Estate Agent, and cosmetic sales. She was President of the NCO Wives Club at Lowry AFB, CO, and a Den Mother for multiple locations for Cub Scout Troops. If asked what was her favorite job she would reply with a smile and giggle "Domestic Goddess".
She is smiling looking down at her Husband; and sons Paul D. Lucas of Brunswick, GA and Donald B. Lucas of Clermont, FL. She is also survived by her mother, Peggy Hubler; brothers, Bill O'Brien, and Rik Hubler; and niece, Cassandra Maynard. Her greatest love is for her grandchildren, Madison, Morgan, Matthew, Blake, Brandon, Jaden, Patricia; and step granddaughter Rosemary.
A viewing will be held on September 18, 2015 from 5 to 7 P.M. and a celebration of life service will be held September 19, 2015 at 3 P.M. at Fountainhead Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, Pat's desire would be for donations to be made to Epilepsy Foundation, Heart Foundation, or Hospice.
