Richard Joseph Maceyak

He was born December 9, 1938 in Tarrytown, NY to John and Anne Maceyak. Richard was a 3 letter athlete in high school and later enlisted in the Marine Corp where he spent the next 4 years and 3 years following in the Reserves as well a member of the National Guard and Knights of Columbus. He then attended SUNY Binghamton in NY and became a Quality Assurance Engineer for American Electric Power. Richard was a lover of animals and was a avid member of ASPCA. He was seen daily working in the yard, enjoyed the challenge of fixing things only others would throw away, history and sports. His favorite teams include The Ohio State Buckeyes and NY Giants.

He is survived by his lovely wife of 50 years, Ruth Ann Maceyak; 2 children Sharon and Daniel, his 3 brothers; John (deceased), Raye and Paul Maceyak; and his 4 sisters; Cecilia Kelly, Carole Savage, M E Corpora and Nancy Napolitano, as well as many other nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.

Services will take place in Palm Bay, Florida, Columbus, Ohio and in his birthplace Tarrytown, NY.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, that all donations are made to the ASPCA
