Ronald Laurence Flax

Ron started his adult life with a career as a graphic artist and decided that it wasn’t for him. He went back to Hunter College to become a RN. While at college he met and befriended Joyce Erlitz who would introduce him to her friend and colleague Florence Inger.

Ron Married Florence on April 10, 1986 in Levittown NY. Just prior to walking down the Aisle Florence asked Ron if he was sure he wanted to do this with all these children. His response was Of Course, I am sure. Ron quickly became father to her Three children Deborah, Michael, and Matthew. A year later Seth moved in the already insane household where he was no longer an only child but the youngest and most tortured of the bunch.

I don’t know who was more tortured him or the kids. Ron had an interesting sense of humor and with that he enjoyed tormenting and annoying all four of his children. As they got older the pranks got more frequent and devious. For this we all thank him for the wonderful memories.

Florence’s Mom moved in with them in 1988. Ron soon became best friends with her mother Marion Wiener. Ron and Marion enjoyed playing Gin Rummy and were very competitive When Marion Passed in 1991, she did so owing Ron $1500.00. Ron and Florence Moved down to Florida in June 2003 with their Daughter Deborah and grandson Joseph in tow to live near their family by choice Richard and Gayle DeBlasio.

By his children Seth David Flax and his Fiancé Jen, Deborah Joy Wilde, Michael Seth Inger and his Wife Stephanie, Matthew Phillip Inger and his wife Lindsay

Grandchildren Brianna Lynn, Aiden Thomas, Maddie Therese, Children of Seth Flax

Grandson Joseph Robert Son of Deborah Wilde & his Fiancé Amber Schmits

Grandchildren Sydney Taylor & Joshua Alexander Children of Michael and Stephanie Inger

Grandchild Maria Rene Daughter of Matthew and Lindsay Inger
